Patient RecruitmentImportant news for women with history of severe morning sickness
Motherisk is conducting a prevention study involving Canadian women who had a previous pregnancy with severe Nausea and Vomiting (NVP) and who are now planning a pregnancy or currently pregnant with no NVP yet. The aim of the study is to improve women's quality of life by preventing the morning or all-day sickness from becoming severe again. Study participation will consist of initial telephone interview, symptom management and regular follow-ups during the pregnancy. Another follow-up interview will be conducted 4-6 months after the baby is born. The study is supervised by Dr. Gideon Koren, MD, and if you would be interested in participating in the study or to get more information, please contact study coordinator Caroline Maltepe at the NVP Healthline at: |
